There has been a rise in terrorists attacking and burning down churches in Canada in recent weeks, with hate crimes against Christians becoming commonplace.<\/p>\n
According to The Counter Signal, which keeps a close eye on terrorist attacks around the globe, found that since June, there have been 45 attacks on Christians. Most of these attacks have been on Roman Catholic congregations.<\/p>\n
The vandalism and fires span six provinces, in addition to the Northwest Territories. Many of these have been in the center of First Nations’ territory. Elders of First Nations and former residential school survivors have been the loudest voices calling for the persecution to end.<\/p>\n
While the media isn’t calling it a terror campaign, Christians are still being forced to defend themselves against these attacks. Some churches are forced to hire private security to protect places of worship.<\/p>\n
As a series of arsons have arisen as statues and churches are destroyed throughout Canada, some have questioned Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s response to the crimes against churches recently.<\/p>\n
“This is so explicitly an anti-church hate crime wave and yet Justin Trudeau, who is normally the first and the wokest, waited a week before saying anything, and he literally said ‘that’s not the way to go,'” Rebel News founder Ezra Levant stated on Fox News.<\/p>\n
The prime minister has since denounced the church burnings amidst backlash over Canada’s use of church-run residential schools to forcibly assimilate indigenous children from the late 19th century through the 1970s, Fox News reports.<\/p>\n
The reason behind the attacks appears to be to strike fear in Christian Canadians who want to practice their faiths.<\/p>\n
There is now video footage showing a man tossing burning objects into the dry bush near a church. Another video<\/a> released on July 2 reveals two young women splattering orange paint on St. Jude’s Parish in Vancouver. The attacks are only increasing.<\/p>\n It’s time to demand justice to end these attacks against Christians.<\/p>\n
