The end of the world is near as well as the coming of the Antichrist, a prominent pastor is claiming. Could there be proof to his assertion?<\/p>\n

The Second Coming of Christ regards the future return of Jesus to Earth, following His ascension when He will defeat the Enemy, destroy evil, and His millennial kingdom. We are told that many prophecies will be fulfilled before Jesus returns.<\/p>\n

The Second Coming is outlined in the Bible alongside other significant events, including the Great Tribulation and the Antichrist’s rise.<\/p>\n

Paul Begley, a popular doomsday preacher from West Lafayette, Indiana, believes these events could be happening soon.<\/p>\n

In a discussion during a segment of The Coming Apocalypse, pastor Begley claimed biblical prophecy is happening before his eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrowing up, you know, everybody thought one day the Antichrist would just walk out and flip a switch, and this would be this new world order,\u201d he said. \u201cNot really, not at all. Actually, it\u2019s a process that has been going on for centuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Lucifer since the moment Christ rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, and the proclamation was that he would return, this same Jesus that you see going away is coming again in alike manner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, Lucifer has been working triple-time, he knows his time is short,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s been fighting all of the ways to prevent the return of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSee the rise of the Antichrist is one thing, the fall is also coming, but in the process, we on Earth and the Church, have to understand that the ever-evolving deception that Lucifer is going to do in his approach to stop the coming of Jesus,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Second Coming is described in Revelation 19:11-21: \u201cI saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, He judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but He Himself\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The passage continues, \u201cHe is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of His mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On His robe and on His thigh He has the name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many people have attempted to pinpoint the time of Christ\u2019s return, and each has failed. Jesus told his disciples on the Mount of Olives, referenced in Matthew 24:36, that \u201cNo one knows about the day or the hour,\u201d so it is impossible to pinpoint the exact day or time of Jesus\u2019 return.
