Pastor Greg Locke says he and his family are trusting God after federal agents raided their Tennessee home as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations involving church finances and other possible crimes.<\/p>\n

Speaking to his congregation<\/a> at Global Vision Bible Church in Lebanon, Tennessee, on Sunday, Locke described the emotional toll of the early morning raid, which came just weeks after the death of his 20-year-old son, Evan, who died from a drug overdose<\/a> in May.<\/p>\n

Locke said he had been three weeks into a six-week sabbatical to grieve his son’s death when approximately 60 federal agents arrived at his home around 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

“The thing that angered me was not that it happened, but that the enemy kicked us while we were down,” Locke said. “And it took away the opportunity for me to continue to grieve Evan.”<\/p>\n

According to Locke, agents entered the home after using a battering ram on the front door.<\/p>\n

“We were in bed at home, and at 6 in the morning, 60 federal agents surrounded our home,” he said. “By the time I got my robe on… a team of federal agents had batter-rammed in our front door… and had me on the ground.”<\/p>\n

Locke said he repeatedly pleaded with officers after realizing his children were still inside the house.<\/p>\n

“I was screaming, ‘I’ve got kids in the house. Don’t shoot. Don’t shoot,'” he recalled, adding that his wife and children were also removed from the home while agents conducted a three-hour search.<\/p>\n

According to Locke, investigators told him they were responding to “an overabundance of the last couple of years of allegations online” claiming he had misappropriated church funds. He also said agents searched for evidence related to other allegations, including child trafficking.<\/p>\n

Locke did not identify the federal agency involved but said authorities executed search warrants at both his home and his media company, Locke Media. He claimed agents seized phones, computers and other electronic devices before leaving with what he described as “a little tiny box of literally a few bank statements.”<\/p>\n

The pastor also told his congregation that his church and personal bank accounts have been closed following government subpoenas issued to financial institutions. As a result, he said the church has struggled to pay staff, insurance and other operating expenses.<\/p>\n

“Kudos to our entire leadership team,” Locke said. “They have gone without any pay. And all of them say, ‘Preacher, we’re riding at dawn. We’re not here for a paycheck.'”<\/p>\n

Despite the disruption, Locke insisted he had no intention of resisting the investigation.<\/p>\n

“We have nothing to hide,” he told the church. “It’s just difficult to get them everything they want because they took everything.”<\/p>\n

Locke also said he has been informed that he has been under federal investigation for approximately two years.<\/p>\n

The FBI’s Tennessee field office did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the reported investigation.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jen Rockwell, a former member of Global Vision Bible Church who launched a social media campaign alleging corruption and financial misconduct within the church, said the investigation is still in its early stages. She noted that federal search warrants are only one part of what can often be a lengthy legal process and emphasized that no criminal charges have been announced.<\/p>\n
