Only 45%<\/a> of America\u2019s Gen Z identify as Christian. And as America ages, experts believe former religious generations will be replaced by increasingly non-religious individuals. \u201cA big part of what\u2019s happened in recent decades is that as older cohorts of highly religious older people have passed away, they have been replaced by new cohorts of young adults who are less religious than their parents and grandparents before them,\u201d states Gregroy Smith, the Senior Associate Director of Religion at the Pew Research Center.<\/p>\n

That statistic, however, is not deterring North Carolina native triplets Gage, Till and Kaden Helms. Known online as 3n1trilogy, the brothers believe Gen Z is ripe for the Gospel. \u201c[God\u2019s] choosing this generation. This generation is the chosen generation,\u201d 18-year-old Gage told Fox News Digital<\/em><\/a>. <\/em>The brothers hope to use their platform to bring the young generation to Christ. \u201cMe and my brothers here have just basically started a Christian platform and just spread the gospel at a young age and trying to encourage others to find Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life,”\u00a0said Till.<\/p>\n

Social media can be a sticky place for Christian families, who try to protect their children from the negative influences of the internet. But the boys convinced their mom to let them have an Instagram account, which they used through her phone to share daily devotions. Gage said they recognize the dangers and opportunities that social media provides. \u201cIt’s pretty evil and a lot of wrong is on it and a lot of bad things. But we can use it for good,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

By the end of one year, the boys had 350,000 followers. Gage told CBN<\/em><\/a> that a back-to-school video really helped their social media take off. \u201cSo, we made that video and then we posted it, and we went to sleep. It was at night; it was like 9 at night and then we woke up and it just blew up! And we were like, what just happened? We had 100,000 views in eight hours. It was crazy, and God just blessed it. So, then we were like, alright guys, we should actually do this,\u201d said Kaden. The boys now have a social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, handling all sorts of topics. \u201cWe usually do what we’re struggling on or what we’re thinking about,” Till told us. “For a long time, in the beginning at school, we were like, what are people struggling with? A lot of people don’t have hope, so we need to talk about hope. And then we were like, a lot of people are having doubt; they’re doubting God. So, we were like, we can really talk about doubt because everybody doubts at some point. So, then we just started going from there,” Till said. Kaden said the boys don\u2019t let the success get to their heads. \u201cEvery day I wake up with the joy, like no matter how bad this day may seem, I have Jesus on my side, like Jesus got me and I had the joy of Jesus living so it’s so fun\u2026it’s such a freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
