Pastor Michael Todd is facing criticism, but not for what he was saying from the pulpit but rather wearing. The senior pastor of Transformation Church appeared during a sermon on \u201cfaith of a mustard seed.\u201d \u201cIf you downgrade or devalue what faith can produce, you’ll never use it right. One of the biggest epidemics in the body of Christ right now is people use their faith wrong,”\u00a0said Todd. \u00a0Despite the appreciation that was expressed online for his sermon, some couldn\u2019t get passed his outfit, wearing a yellow jacket, bell bottom pants, and high heeled shoes. \u201cWhat is he wearing???\u201d asked one user<\/a> social media. Another user asked why he was wearing women\u2019s clothing and cited Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, \u201cA woman must not wear men\u2019s clothing, nor a man wear women\u2019s clothing, for the LORD\u00a0your God detests anyone who does this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason Whitlock went further in his criticism, calling Todd an \u201cabomination.\u201d \u201cThis is sad,\u201d he added with a photo of Todd<\/a>. \u201cWhen you teach against Biblical headship, \u2018you can do bad all by yourself,\u2019 \u2018women can be pastors,\u2019 \u2018divine feminine,\u2019 \u2018I’m momma and daddy,\u2019 you get Mike Todd,\u201d wrote<\/a> Alton T. Johnson of Every Knee Shall Bow Ministries. His post included a picture of Todd with the heading \u201c\u2018Pastors\u2019 be out here dressing like aunties.\u201d Smart Christians Life<\/a> addressed the controversy on its channel. \u201cHow did his wife let him walk out of here like that?\u201d asked host Rock Leach. \u201cI\u2019m saying you\u2019re gayish,\u201d said Corey Minor. They cited 1 Corinthians 6:9 which refers to \u201ceffiminates\u201d as being forbidden from inheriting the kingdom of God. \u201cYou are a man and you are presenting as a woman\u2026 if you\u2019re a man, be that,\u201d said Ray Curry.<\/p>\n

Corey Minor further addressed the controversy on Smart Christians Channel<\/a>.\u00a0 \u201cMike Todd, you\u2019re wearing clothes that look like women\u2019s clothing,\u201d he said, trying to address the pastor personally. He then shared a video of Todd addressing his clothing preferences. \u201cWho he think he is? Just a child of God,\u201d Todd said of his critics. \u201cWhat audacity does\u2026 it offends the average,\u201d he concluded. \u201cThe only people that would be offended are us \u2018average\u2019 people,\u201d Minor said about that comment.
