Even to non-Christians, the term \u201carmor of God\u201d may be a familiar term. It comes from Ephesians 6:14-17, which states, \u201cStand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth<\/em>, and having on the breastplate of righteousness<\/em>; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel<\/em> of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith<\/em>, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation<\/em>, and the sword of the Spirit<\/em>, which is the word of God\u2026\u201d (italics added). Shea Bradley-Farrell, PhD, president of Counterpoint Institute for Policy, Research, and Education located in Washington, DC recently told Fox News<\/em><\/a> she sees that section in the book of Ephesians through the light of her own military background, having grown up with a father and grandfather that both served in the military.<\/p>\n
