Jones recently told CBN News, \u201cI come from generations of pastors. My mom\u2019s a preacher, grandparents are, so, the Gospel at large \u2014 knowing who Christ is and accepting [Him] to my heart \u2026 that\u2019s all I know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 31-year-old TV host said although he grew up with the Gospel, it wasn\u2019t until he left home and moved to Washington, D.C., and, ultimately, New York City that he fully put into practice what he had learned about God and the Bible. Jones said, \u201cYou start getting tested. For me, the faith walk became real when life became real, and when you\u2019re alone, and you don\u2019t have that support system being with you every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones, who recently released the book, \u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/American-Man-Speaking-Truth-Masculinity\/dp\/1546005447\/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&amp;qid=&amp;sr=\">American Man: Speaking the Truth about the War on Masculinity<\/a><\/em>,\u201d said he\u2019s not the type of person who will pretend he\u2019s a \u201cperfect Christian,\u201d refusing to project a lie or mistruth. In the process, he said he\u2019s striving to be more like Jesus every day. \u201cPart of the Gospel itself is understanding that Christ paid it all because I\u2019m imperfect,\u201d Jones said. \u201cAnd anytime that we try to project ourselves as these perfect beings, I think we take His glory away, because \u2026 if we have it all together, then He wouldn\u2019t need to pay it all on the cross for our sins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/phx7uwtuAk4?si=4VK-Y9-kzN1SlMDU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jones, who sees life through a biblical lens, is in a truly unique position with a prime spot on TV, delivering news and information to the masses. He called his work on \u201cFox &amp; Friends\u201d \u2014\u00a0and Fox News more broadly \u2014 an \u201cexciting experience.\u201d He said, \u201cI\u2019ve had the opportunity to grow in different ways. Obviously, starting as a contributor and then, from there, becoming Sean Hannity\u2019s correspondent, doing my own show on Saturday, and now this incredible opportunity.\u201d Despite all the attention and success, Jones said he hasn\u2019t found it challenging to cling to his faith. \u201cI don\u2019t find it a struggle to hold on to who God has called me to be and be that person,\u201d he said, noting he\u2019s \u201cproud to be a believer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones has also been able to see his faith represented on the air, with \u201cFox &amp; Friends\u201d recently hosting the network\u2019s second annual \u201cFaith &amp; Friends Concert Series,\u201d a lenten celebration featuring Christian artists from across the music spectrum.
