I only came upon his full name by chance, if you believe in that sort of thing: <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nevillegoddard.com\/home.html\" target=\"_new\"><font face=\"arial\">Neville Lancelot Goddard<\/font><\/a><font face=\"arial\">. (Isn&#8217;t that yummy?) He was a teacher of metaphysics beginning during the Great Depression and ending in the 1970s. His very first book was published in 1939 and it was out-of-print for years until <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrfire.com\/\" target=\"_new\"><font face=\"arial\">Dr. Joe Vitale<\/a> (of &#8220;The Secret&#8221; fame)<\/font><font face=\"arial\"> bought it and republished it. It\u2019s called <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/At-Your-Command-Joe-Vitale\/dp\/097684916X\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3\/102-3789407-1999335?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1179857875&amp;sr=8-3\" target=\"_new\"><font face=\"arial\">\u201cAt Your Command\u201d<\/font><\/a><font face=\"arial\"> and it\u2019s a winner.<\/p>\n<p>Neville is far and away ahead of most practitioners on the use of the Law of Attraction. He says, \u201cThat if two shall agree as touching anything, it shall be established on earth,\u201d to paraphrase Christian scripture. The delicious departure is his definition of the two. \u201cThis agreement is never made between two persons. It is between the awareness and the thing desired.\u201d Manifesting, my dear, is an inside job.<\/p>\n<p>His formula is deceptively simple. \u201cTake your attention away from all that is now your problem or limitation and dwell upon just being. That is; you say silently but feeling[ly] to yourself, \u2018I AM\u2019. . . until you are lost in the feeling of just being. When this expansion of consciousness is attained, then, . . . give form to the new conception by FEELING yourself to be THAT which you desire to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Neville contends that \u201cRecognition is the power that conjures in the world.\u201d Picture it this way. Remember that oft-quoted phrase from Westley to the Princess Buttercup in \u201c<\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Princess_Bride_(film)\" target=\"_new\"><font face=\"arial\">The Princess Bride<\/font><\/a><font face=\"arial\">\u201d?
