Soak&#8217;s On You Geraldo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote it last night on Facebook, and I&#8217;ll write it again here now on Beliefnet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geraldo Rivera<\/strong> of <em>FOX News<\/em> didn&#8217;t need to be standing out in the rain for his entire Saturday night newscast.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s one thing for reporters who are assigned to report on the hurricane to brave the rainy and windy conditions.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s oddly entertaining to watch reporters try to get complete sentences out while being pounded by the hurricane.<\/p>\n<p>You feel bad for them, but like a train wreck, you HAVE to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Which takes me to Geraldo &#8230; he didn&#8217;t HAVE to stand out on the streets of New York City to do his entire show Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>I bet you he was just showing off, similar to Hurricane Irene, below.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Geraldo in Hurricane Ike\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c5JTR5BwpZI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>I bet it was HIS decision to be out there, and after about 1\/2 hour it looks pretty foolish.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, the poor cameraman and other news assistants who have to live with that decision.<\/p>\n<p>Those poor saps&#8230;. or sops as it were.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few more victims of Geraldo&#8217;s sensationalism, at times.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>for a look at the sports of the day check out: http:\/\/www.heapsgoodstuff.com\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote it last night on Facebook, and I&#8217;ll write it again here now on Beliefnet.
