Everyone knows about all the world series titles won by the New York Yankees.<\/p>\n

It makes them the most hated and\/or loved team in perhaps all of sports.<\/p>\n

You HAVE to respect several of the team’s players for their class and professionalism, though, including Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter.<\/p>\n

Off the radar a bit, though he shouldn’t be, is set-up man Dave Robertson who has struck out over a batter per inning in a terrific season.<\/p>\n

Robertson is also getting the job done off the field with his wife, Erin, as the pair have a website to help tornado ravaged Alabama.<\/p>\n

Their website, www.highsocksforhope.com, offers the opportunity to help his home area of Tuscaloosa as she spoke about in an appearance on FOX Saturday Baseball<\/em>.<\/p>\n
