I admit I was going to write about how much better cartoons were when I was growing up, but then I realized something:<\/p>\n

I haven’t watched cartoons for years, save for a rare episode of Sponge Bob<\/em> or Speed Racer<\/em> when I was in college.<\/p>\n

To me, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Super Friends<\/em> and Woody Woodpecker<\/em> were really good cartoons for a lot of reasons.<\/p>\n

I loved thinking ahead of how things might be from The Jetsons<\/em>, or enjoying the action of Super Friends<\/em> and the corny humor of the other two cartoons.<\/p>\nhttp:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WpBqYcGqaaw<\/a>\n

Cartoons used to be so simple, graphically in particular, but were still so enjoyable.<\/p>\n

The only one that drove me nuts; Tom and Jerry<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It drove me crazy Tom was soooooo tantalizingly close to catching Jerry and never could hang on to him.<\/p>\n
