Heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.

That’s the best way to describe the dance troupe Silhouettes, which appears to be a top-10, at least, finisher on this season’s edition of America’s Got Talent.

As impressive as their routine was Wednesday night on NBC … and oh, it was quite impressive … their behind the scenes story was even more so.

These are kids overcoming, or trying to overcome, serious illnesses led by a woman they call ‘mom’ who ironically can’t physically have her  own children.

Ugh! your heart just goes out to this courageous group.

Then they go out on stage and give the most inspiring performance of the night, saluting the walk on the moon, the flag and much more in just a few minutes.

It’s a tough time for America, as show judge Piers Morgan correctly pointed out, but hope lies in kids like these.

‘Believe’ ?… (as they spelled out with their bodies at the end of their performance).

Maybe … and that’s more positive than I have felt in a long time.
