Media corruption? <br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.tv\/media-malpractice-and-the-march-for-life\/\">You be the judge.<\/a> <br \/><b><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.northjersey.com\/arts_entertainment\/114532754_For_better_or_worse___Skins__gets_a_buzz_Several_advertisers_jump_ship.html\">MTV&#8217;s Skins episode airs with few advertisers.<\/a><\/b> Facing allegations that the controversial sexually-provocative teen drama (which includes minors in its cast) amounts to child pornography, advertisers bailed in droves causing the latest episode to run without spots from the likes of&nbsp; Taco Bell, Subway, Wrigley, GM or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/hr-block-denies-skins-advertiser-74814\">H&amp;R Block<\/a>. That pretty much left some movie promos, a PSA against digital bullying and MTV itself.<br \/>Meanwhile, Bryan Elsley, the creator of the show, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/skins-creator-calls-controversial-mtv-75127\">says<\/a> <i>&#8220;<em>Skins<\/em> is a very simple and in fact rather old fashioned<br \/>\ntelevision series. It&#8217;s about the lives and loves of teenagers, how they<br \/>\nget through high school, how they deal with their friends, and also how<br \/>\nthey circumnavigate some of the complications of sex, relationships,<br \/>\neducations, parents, drugs and alcohol.&#8221;<\/i> <br \/>Yeah, old fashioned, just like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gMxkMy9JvXI\"><i>Happy Days<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/keith-olbermann-breaks-silence-75119\">Keith Olbermann breaks his silence.<\/a><\/b> The ex-<i>Countdown<\/i> host tweets that reports of the death of his career are greatly exaggerated. There is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DraftKeithOlbermann?v=wall\">Facebook effort<\/a> afoot to draft him to run for the U.S. Senate. Personally, I&#8217;d vote for Betty White.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/video-msnbcs-lawrence-odonnell-pays-75352\">Lawrence O&#8217;Donnell<\/a>, meanwhile, has begun his reign in the old Olbermann slot on MSNBC. In his opening show he praised his predecessor saying <i>&#8220;I marvel as any writer must at what Keith was doing. Five op-eds a<br \/>\nweek. Each of them much, much longer than the standard 800 words.&#8221;<\/i> It&#8217;s true his rants did seem endless. Anyway, I&#8217;m not entirely sure O&#8217;Donnell isn&#8217;t just Olbermann without the glasses.
