I call it cinema-therapy, especially when the subject matter is near and dear to my heart. Such was the premise of the recently&nbsp;released Clint Eastwood directed&nbsp;film <strong><em>Hereafter. <\/em><\/strong>He explores the idea that life in the midst of death in the midst of life is the way of things.&nbsp;&nbsp;Three main&nbsp;characters&#8217; relationship with death is touched upon in a profound manner. They range from a successful newscaster who has a near death experience, to a &#8216;retired&#8217; medium who swears never to enter back into the work that made him an international sensation,&nbsp;and a young boy who experiences a gut wrenching loss.&nbsp; It brings into question &#8220;what really happens when we die and what awaits us on the other side?&#8221;&nbsp; I found the acting to be superb and genuine, with veteran actors Matt&nbsp;Damon and Marthe Keller&nbsp;side by&nbsp;side with charming&nbsp;relative newcomer<\/font>&nbsp;<font>Cecile De France and delightful child actors, twins Frankie and George McLaren. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font>My own take is that there is indeed something that&nbsp;invites&nbsp;us in as we make our transition and from what I have heard and read from those who have crossed over and then came back to tell about it, loved ones are on the welcoming committee and that there is an exquisite experience of feeling embraced by love.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font>What is your belief about the afterlife?<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font>Feel free to share with the other readers.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font><\/font>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hereafter.warnerbros.com\">www.hereafter.warnerbros.com<\/a><\/font> &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Movies move me in powerful ways.
