The morning that I wrote this entry, my cousin, Melissa posted on her facebook page what has become an iconic greeting and certainly memorable for anyone who grew up in the 60’s-80’s.\u00a0 Sing along if you would like…”It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood…”\u00a0 Mr. Rogers\u00a0 certainly knew the secret to a sweet life.<\/p>\n
What’s the first thought that crosses your awakening mind when you open your eyes to greet a new day? Is it one that accompanies groaning\u00a0or a companion to glory?\u00a0 Each morning, I set intention for ‘connecting with amazing people and having extraordinary experiences’ and every day I do. Imagine if you will, that you have eyeglasses on the nighstand next to your bed. As you pick them up you notice they are smudgy with fingerprints. How would the world look to you if you placed them on like that?\u00a0Would you instead, \u00a0clean them? It is the same thing with our mental eyeglasses. Our worldview could be smudgy with judgment, doubt or fear, or clear with love, bliss and a sense of connection with all that is.<\/p>\n
Take a moment to get in touch with your heart…what do you experience? How does it speak to you?\u00a0 Most of us ignore its calling, instead, buying into\u00a0 life limiting beliefs and self deprecating thoughts. No wonder there is so much depression, denial of dreams and folks who give up on their vision for re-creating their lives. If there was one gift I could offer everyone reading this entry, it would be an ab-soul-utely, positively,\u00a0 deep at your core, no doubt KNOWING that you are worthy of having your dreams come true. With that powerful tool at your disposal, the next step is a willingness to do whatever it takes to see it blossom. See, my take on these things is that we don’t necessarily ‘do the best we can’; instead, we do the best we are willing to do. <\/strong>Yes, talent helps, yes training can make a difference, but I have seen people with little formal education, work wonders in their own lives and those of others they encounter. What if you knew that by the end of the day that you are reading this, you could claim a miracle?\u00a0 How would you feel in this moment?\u00a0 I guarantee that you CAN. A Course In Miracles refers to a miracle as\u00a0 shift in perception.\u00a0 If you would take a moment and reframe anything that occurs in this day, you will definitely live in miracle consciousness and as a result, take leaps and bounds into the life you deserve and desire.<\/p>\n One thing I have learned is that ‘atty-tood- is everything.
