I call myself a professional hyphenate:\u00a0 Writer-speaker-social worker- minister-radio host-social worker-therapist-addictions counselor- BLISS coach-editor-author-reiki master-PR Goddess (and the list is growing). I used to say that I would &#8216;patchwork together&#8217; my sources of income so I could stay afloat. When I think about a patchwork quilt, what comes to mind is a lovely blanket with which I can wrap myself, comprised of a multitude of bits and pieces lovingly stitched together. The flip side of it though is the idea that they are also &#8216;scraps&#8217; of material. That part runs counter to what I want to believe is so about my work.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, I have come to think of the concept of &#8216;multiple streams of income&#8217; that flow gracefully into my life. What if you could visualize that for yourself? In my mind, I see a trickling body of water, moving through a verdant landscape with wildflowers waving on a brilliantly grassy shore, fed by the richness of the liquid love. As I sit on the earth, I dip my feet in the water and splash about. I scoop up handfuls of it and toss it in the air and lift my face toward the falling drops; laughing as it drenches me. Could I also envision money that way?\u00a0 I do that often and welcome you to do it too.<\/p>\n<p>Rev. Ike who was a charismatic and iconic preacher\u00a0and died a few years ago would say that<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can come to the Ocean with a teaspoon, a bucket, or a tractor trailer! The Ocean doesn\u2019t care!
