What if you could don glasses that would help you see the world in a whole new light and realize that we are all connected heart to heart, regardless of circumstance? How would your relationships change?\u00a0 What wounds might you heal for yourself and others?<\/p>\n

A typical day in the life of a young professional begins with him hustling down his stairs and into his car, finding things to be unhappy about nearly every moment, that he narrates in his head.\u00a0Most are minor inconveniences in the\u00a0grand scheme of things\u00a0such as a neighbor child riding his skate board in the street, to someone\u00a0taking the parking spot he\u00a0wanted, to having to wait in line\u00a0\u00a0for a cup of coffee. \u00a0It is when he is handed a pair of specs by a stranger that he is able to see clearly that everyone he has encountered that day, has a story to tell, a challenge that they face which invite love and compassion. Some have labels such as:<\/p>\n

Just lost his job <\/em><\/p>\n

Fighting addiction<\/em><\/p>\n

Avoids relationships for fear of pain<\/em><\/p>\n

Struggling with finding purpose<\/em><\/p>\n

Discontent with life<\/em><\/p>\n

Needs a hug<\/em><\/p>\n

These become a call to action for him to make a difference in the life of one person who I am certain will pay it forward in some way and cause a ripple effect that may even touch the folks this man has ‘met’ throughout that 24 hour period.<\/p>\n

In that way, both he and the world are served.<\/p>\n
