It still challenged my eternal dance with the dichotomy between free will and God’s will and does to this day. I just looked up the words again and found this description that upped the ante:

Hakol Beseder B’Eli Haseder– “Everything is in Order Within the Chaos”. That makes more sense to me. In daily life, chaos shows up as higgledy piggledy disorder, confusion, what the heck was that about?, who thought THIS one up?, shake up- wake ups. Today at Circle of Miracles, the speaker/spark was Mary Note Law; a healer, angel communicator, artist, author and speaker who shared on the subject of Embodying Your Sacred Self In The New Year. Right up my alley, since I always do a ritual to usher in the New Year that includes a Vision Board. This one, which is a work in progress even as I am writing this article, began evolving on Friday night.

I was excited to hear Mary’s musings about entering into 2014 with heart wide open. One of the first things that arose was that in order to do so, it was crucial to “allow more of that which we truly are, to be the dominant stream of consciousness.” She reinforced the importance of being in the “Now Moment” (which is really all there is anyway, no matter what our minds might tell us is so.) She quoted another friend named Kathy Milano who, herself is a channel and transformational speaker and reminded us that “Love has an intelligence all its own and knows where to go and what to do,” and finally, shared the wisdom of one of her beloved teachers Ginger Grancagnolo who declared “I am one with the power that created me.” If all of this is so, what is there to fear?

She wrapped these concepts around stories with which she regaled us. One was about inadvertently spraying the car behind her with the windshield washer fluid with which she was cleaning her own smudgy window. A spiritual cleanse took place as the woman became irate and for several miles, cursed, shook her fist and gave the one finger salute to Mary as she drove past her. Although Mary didn’t return the insult with one of her own, she did smile, wave and in a sense, make fun of the woman. It wasn’t until she arrived at home and spoke with Kathy who reminded her that people who are that angry, could be dangerous and she was lucky that her response didn’t further provoke her. She then went within and looked at other ways she could have handled it. She spoke with the woman soul to soul and offered four phrases that are part of the Hawaiian modality of Ho’oponopono. “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. ” It is meant to bring about healing and reconciliation; which when I think about it, puts order to chaos in the same manner of the Hebrew phrase I referenced earlier. Mary may never know what response it evoked in the ‘stranger’ who was a mirror for her, but she certainly knows that it brought her sense of peace.

Mary was surrounded by her paintings which were also channeled as she allows Spirit to hold the brush and inspire her.

Annabella Wood, who is the resident musician at Circle of Miracles, shared a story as well. She is a phenomenal singer songwriter whose music is what I think of as alt-country with an eclectic spiritual flair. I marvel at what comes through her and today, as Mary spoke, she wrote two songs that really ‘wrote her’. One was about being the voice through which God sings and the other was about Ho’oponopono which she had not heard of until today. She was telling the group about a newspaper article that followed a concert at which she recently performed, with other artists. She eagerly went to read it and felt a sense of disappointment when she saw that the journalist had given her a mere mention and did not elaborate. She brooded over it for awhile and had a conversation with God, saying that it felt unfair that if she was being guided to do this work, how could the ‘wrong reporter’ have been sent? She shared her unhappiness with her wife, who responded perfectly, “If you believe in Divine Order, how could they have sent the wrong reporter?” Such a wise woman she is. At that moment, Annabella had to assess her beliefs and come to accept that it was true. I smiled in recognition, since I sometimes go into ‘it’s-not-fair-itis’ when my work isn’t recognized as I want it to be. Since I don’t just believe, but KNOW that Spirit with whom I am one, always has my best interest at heart and in mind, I am able to trust that it will all unfold beautifully.

www.marynotelaw.com

www.annabellawood.com

www.kathymilano.com

www.circleofmiracles.com

Many years ago, I heard the Hebrew phrase: Hakol Beseder, which I had understood to mean “All is in Divine Order”. I liked the sound of it and the sense of reassurance that went along with it, that God/Goddess had my back.
