What happens when\u00a0a “quantum physics musing, singing, songwriting, Work of Byron Katie facilitating, handywoman, minister, Truck Driving Mama” picks up a guitar, takes a deep breath and allows Spirit to use her to vocalize\u00a0words of inspiration? The sophomore CD of Annabella Wood\u00a0called Always With You<\/em> <\/strong>is a lively- lovely lyrically rich release. Having been a 30 year\u00a0career, long distance trucker, she had plenty of time to contemplate life and become a consummate storyteller. The genre is a hybrid….a little bit country, a little bit folky-pop, a lot interfaith spiritual. She sings of angels and angel channels, of Native American concepts and Christ Consciousness, relationships ending and a reunion with a long time friend who shows up unexpectedly. Wood is God-drenched, not in a preachy, but rather, a playful manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has long been Musician in Residence at Circle of Miracles which is my home base interfaith community in New Britain, PA. She always has the perfect song to match the topic that the Speaker\/Spark is offering. I have marveled that she sometimes writes a song on the fly and sings it right after the applause for that person stops.<\/p>\n

The title song opens the CD and was inspired by an experience she had while hearing one of said speakers, Kathy Milano. It is an assurance that our angels are never out of touch and we are their priority.<\/p>\n

Just Say Yes<\/em> <\/strong>is an enthusiastic affirmation that empowers the listener to claim the good in their lives. While she lived in California, Wood attended the Agape Center where Rev. Michael Beckwith is the transformational trans-denominational minister.<\/p>\n

Another Yourself<\/em><\/strong> is a powerful reminder that ‘there is only one of us here’ and we are all inextricably connected.<\/p>\n

Wayne Dyer was the Muse whose paradigm shifting line “I’ll see it when I believe it,” is the influence behind the song by the same name.<\/p>\n

It Ain’t Personal<\/em> <\/strong>is a musical Dear Jane letter that\u00a0Wood unfolds for the listener to hear and to which they are likely to nod their head knowingly.<\/p>\n

Another angel encounter comes through in this humorous conversation between a channel\u00a0named Christie Maybo\u00a0and her Heavenly Hosts who are insistent on speaking rapid fire in Hold On<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Old Friend<\/strong> <\/em>is a song that can be interpreted in various ways. Listen for the subtleties in the message.<\/p>\n

Wood’s gutsy, stretching on tiptoes high note\u00a0 is called forth in Amazing Grace<\/em> <\/strong>sung to the tune of The House of The Rising Sun.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n
