Some of the best things about this &#8216;job posting&#8217;\u00a0are that the position is always open, the pay and benefits are phenomenal and we get to work with awesome colleagues. Particularly essential, in times like these, when we never know from one day to the next, in the midst of a quiet moment, if Pandora&#8217;s Box could fly open and chaos could break loose. We need people to stay steadfast \u00a0knowing that the Highest Good prevails regardless of appearances and love trumps fear. I am generally able to meet the job requirements. Sometimes I get knocked off center and experience what I call &#8216;spritual amnesia&#8217; and forget all of this stuff. It&#8217;s then that the Universe shows up with a potent wake up call and the tools needed for the work in front of me. One of my strengths, developed over the years is that I am able to be a comforting presence, according to friends, family and clients. Many thanks to my mother who was &#8216;the rock&#8217;, the one with what she called &#8216;broad shoulders&#8217; that could support whatever needs arose. She taught me well. When crisis has called, I have been an emotional &#8216;first responder&#8217;, at the ready to offer a listening ear, a calming influence, hugs,\u00a0a &#8216;get it done&#8217; attitude, and maybe some good guidance as the icing on the cake.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lately, I have recognized that even this personal and professional caregiver needs support as well, so I have been asking for and receiving it in abundance. I think of it as maintenance so that I can continue to do the work I do.
