Haha! Grateful to have been on the train though & it was a new experience and funny as, so it’s all good! The train driver just came on the speaker to say “we’re currently on the wrong side of the track, but will be moving the the right side shortly!!!” comedy moment!!! “

I told her that it could only get better from that point on and added that it would make for a great blog entry.

“Bloody is!! That’s never happened before! Actually could have been dangerous but looking at the comedy in it and all’s good! Back on the right track now!! “

How many times do you find yourself de-railed by self limiting thoughts and fear gremlins? You are seated ever so comfortably on cushy seats, enjoying the scenery, leaving the driving to someone else, conversing with your fellow passengers. You can be trekking along nicely, when the track curves in unexpected ways or an outlaw jumps on board and attempts to hijack the train. What’s a spiritual traveler to do? Well, (s)he can sneak off the car; jump, tuck and roll or stay on board and see where the journey leads, fight back against the hijacker, complain that it jumped the track.

What would it take to be on the ‘right track’? Can you tell when you are there? For me, it a sense of YES and what I call the ‘goosebump factor’ which is my truth barometer. Are you willing to be, not just the passenger, but also the conductor? Can you see yourself driving the train at times and perhaps sitting back and allowing someone else to lead at others?

Where is your train taking you? Do you hop on and off a local or are you willing to be on it for the long haul? Set your sights for adventure and like the Little Engine That Could, KNOW that you can make it up the hill and as the conductor on The Polar Express so eloquently says: “The thing about trains… it doesn’t matter where they’re going. What matters is deciding to get on.” Get on the train!

Jolene…may you ALWAYS travel well and remain on track, at least most of the time(:

http://youtu.be/1g6nPYyIS_I Last Train Home by The Pat Metheny Group
