Instead he kept coming up with new and improved ways of enhancing our ability to communicate with each other. I do own an iphone and love the ways in which it allows me to reach out and touch people via speech, email and text. It is definitely a boon to this natural born communicator.

Jobs also exhibited both right brain creativity and left brain, linear logic; a winning combination that had him taking his place in the pantheon of successful entrepreneurs.

He echoed what I have long known to be so; that we are led by the inexorable force of life that beckons us forward and has us compelled to go beyond our expectations for ourselves and our wildest dreams.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future,” he told Stanford University graduates during a commencement speech in 2005. “You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

Indeed his dots connected all of our futures. May he take a well deserved rest in his new ‘corporate headquarters’.

http://youtu.be/RMTKb-pgxGI Keep Me In Your Heart For Awhile by Warren Zevon
