I challenge alert readers to read this and check it out. See if you think this critique of Snopes is valid or not. I have my own suspicions since I have found that the site makes mistakes, but see what you think&#8230;..&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Personally, I doubt it is a liberal conspiracy. What is plausible is that these folks don&#8217;t always have accurate info (and shouldn&#8217;t claim they do) and don&#8217;t always have the critical tools or inside info to get to the bottom of everything.&nbsp; bottom of various issues<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; When<br \/>\nI saw that Snopes had<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;falsely claimed that<br \/>\nObama&#8217;s Birth Certificate had been properly<br \/>\nvalidated,<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;I &nbsp;realized<br \/>\nsomething was wrong <\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">with either their<br \/>\nresearch<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;and\/or their<br \/>\ncredibility. <\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">It seems something is<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">seriously wrong with<br \/>\n&nbsp;both.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; Then a few months ago,<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">when my State Farm agent<br \/>\nBud Gregg<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;in<br \/>\nMandeville&nbsp;&nbsp;hoisted a political sign referencing<br \/>\nBarack Obama and <\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">made a big splash across<br \/>\nthe Internet.<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">Supposedly, the Mikkelsons<br \/>\nclaim to have researched this issue before posting their<br \/>\nfindings on<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\"><a title=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><b> snopes.com<\/b><\/a><b>.<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">In their statement they<br \/>\nclaimed<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;the corporate office<br \/>\nof State Farm pressured Gregg into taking down the sign,<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">when in fact<br \/>\n,<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">nothing of the sort ever<br \/>\ntook place.<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; I personally contacted David Mikkelson<br \/>\n(and he replied back to me) thinking that<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;he would want to get<br \/>\nto the bottom of this, and I gave him Bud Gregg&#8217;s contact phone<br \/>\nnumbers. Bud was going to give him phone numbers to the big<br \/>\nexec&#8217;s at State Farm in <\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Illinois<\/span><span style=\"color: black\"><br \/>\nwho would have been willing to speak with him about it. He never<br \/>\ncalled Bud.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">In fact, I learned from<br \/>\nBud Gregg that<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;no one<br \/>\nfrom<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\"><a title=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><b> snopes.com<\/b><\/a><b> ever contacted anyone<br \/>\nwith State Farm.<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;Yet<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\"><a title=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/snopes.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><b> snopes.com<\/b><\/a><b> issued a statement as the<br \/>\n&#8216;final factual word&#8217; on the issue<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;as if they did all<br \/>\ntheir homework and<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;got to the bottom of<br \/>\nthings.<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: black\">&nbsp;Not!<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;
