Ann and I were fortunate enough to make one Second Breakfast at a renowned spot &#8212; Walnut Cottage near Arrowtown outside Queenstown. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/bibleandculture\/NZ%20553.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"NZ 553.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/137\/import\/assets_c\/2009\/08\/NZ%20553-thumb-400x225-6958.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-none\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div>Second Breakfast can go on for quite a while depending upon the number of scones and the conviviality of the company.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/bibleandculture\/NZ%20540.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"NZ 540.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/137\/import\/assets_c\/2009\/08\/NZ%20540-thumb-400x711-6962.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-none\" width=\"400\" height=\"711\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, we arrived early enough for there to be plenty of scones and Devon clotted cream (which produces Devon clotted arteries no doubt).&nbsp; After all, Gimli was NOT played by a dwarf &#8212; just ask 6&#8217;1&#8243; John Rhys Davies.<\/p>\n<p>Walnut Cottage is a place where numerous beautiful moments can be shared, and a relaxing time can be had by all.&nbsp; &#8216;feast on your life&#8217; &#8212; an apt description of Hobbit behavior.&nbsp; One could as well say &#8216;feast for life&#8217;, but now I am able to reveal further evidence of Hobbit humor.
