The subject of this exploration of skullduggery and archaeology is things apocalyptic and the Roman Imperial cult.  Art is caught up in a nexus of intrigue, and finds himself led to explore why their are inscriptions on ankhs about the Emperor being divine. In the process he learns a lot about ancient talismans and the Gnostic Gospels as well. But just when things seem to have been going well and Art is in Turkey exploring more inscriptions about the Imperial Cult, he discovers his friend Grave Levine has been kidnapped in Tel Aviv, and he is wanted for a prisoner exchange. The game is afoot and there are chases, murder most foul, and even a dramatic change of heart by a member of Hamas. <\/p>\n
