Fox News<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\nHere’s an interesting interview of Stephen Colbert with the author of a new book on documented sightings of UFOs. What is interesting is that all these witnesses are not prepared to say that UFOs are proof of alien life. Me personally, I’m not sure there is intelligent life on earth, never mind on other planets. But this interview is fun, and it raises the question once again, what do we make of these unexplained sightings. I have been fascinated by this whole question since junior high school, and read a slew of books then and gave book reports on this, until my teachers told me, pick another subject. I am not sure what to make of this phenomena which seems to reflect intelligent behavior and spectacular technology. Maybe Marvel comics was right and there are being in the universe that are the Watchers \ud83d\ude42 But seriously, in early Judaism and early Christianity the ancients believed that there were such things as guardian angels. Whether this phenomena has anything to do with that, I have no idea—– but it’s worth exploring.
