\u201cI hate my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>No, not me.\u00a0 I\u2019m quoting.\u00a0 I heard someone say this recently.\u00a0 That person has a lot going for her, but she never talks about anything but how her housework is never done, her husband doesn\u2019t appreciate her, and everyone is always wronging her.<\/p>\n

How can she turn things around and make her life enjoyable?\u00a0 Peter talked about that in I Peter 3:10.\u00a0 Want to love life?\u00a0 Want to have a good day?\u00a0 Quit the negative talk.\u00a0 Stop griping — and start thanking. \u00a0 Focus on God and what He\u2019s given rather than on how you\u2019ve been wronged.\u00a0 Make a conscious effort to talk about the blessings rather than the troubles.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we forget that there are people listening to us complain. Husbands listen — and if he thinks you can\u2019t be pleased, he may give up the effort.\u00a0 Try bragging on him and thanking him instead.<\/p>\n

Children listen. Do you want them to think that they are nothing but trouble?\u00a0 Do you want them to think the Christian life is not worth living? Don\u2019t be saying those things, then!<\/p>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean we should ignore troubles and cover them up.\u00a0 If it is fixable — take steps to change it.\u00a0 If not, accept it from God\u2019s hand.\u00a0 Express thanks, stop the evil words, and keep your eyes on Jesus.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll find yourself loving your life — because the loving God designed it for you, and it truly is full of good things.<\/p>\n
