All Bran Cereal<\/li>\n<li>Natural sweetener to equal 2 Tbsp. sugar (I used three packs of Truvia)<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp. powdered milk.\u00a0 (Didn\u2019t have any, so I substituted with protein powder.)<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp. peanut butter (I used sunflower seed butter because of a\u00a0 peanut sensitivity.)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 egg, lightly beaten.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0Directions<\/p>\n<p>Combine the cereals, sugar, and powdered milk.\u00a0 Blend together peanut butter, vanilla, and egg until smooth.\u00a0 Pour peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until well blended.\u00a0 Drop by spoonfuls onto a waxed paper-lined dinner plate.\u00a0 You should have 8 to 10 cookies.\u00a0 Microwave at high power for 1\/1\/2 to 2 minutes. until set.\u00a0 Allow to cool.<\/p>\n<p>One cookie has 58 calories, 3.2 grams of protein, and .8 gram fiber. \u00a0They are high in iron (9% of your daily requirement in one cookie) riboflavin, selenium, thiamin and very high in vitamin B12.<\/p>\n<p>If you are comparing these to Grandma\u2019s oatmeal cookies, you might be a bit disappointed. Think of them instead as a granola bar cookie.\u00a0 They are chewy and tasty &#8212; even with all my substitutions! \u00a0Remember to eat them slowly and mindfully!
