If only — If only.\u00a0 How the \u201cif onlies\u201d plague us! \u201cIf I had only kept up that healthy eating and exercise plan I started five years ago I would look terrific now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf only I had been smarter and used more self control when I was younger, I wouldn\u2019t be carrying around all this extra blubber.\u201d<\/p>\n

If we could turn back time, we would certainly fix those mistakes that we are forced to wear now.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t change the past — but we don\u2019t have to suffer with the \u201cif onlys\u201d either.\u00a0 We can\u2019t have a new beginning, but we can have a new ending.\u00a0 If we start now doing what we wish we had done, we will find ourselves on a different road. \u00a0 And that road ends in a different place than the the place we’re headed now.<\/p>\n

As long as you are alive and breathing, you can change things and have a different outcome.\u00a0 That applies not only to weight loss and fitness, but to the rest of life as well.\u00a0 Wish you had finished college?\u00a0 It\u2019s not too late!\u00a0 I graduated when in my fifties.\u00a0 Thinking \u201cif only\u201d you had learned an instrument when you were younger you would really enjoy it now?\u00a0 So take lessons.\u00a0 Maybe you don\u2019t have time to be a concert pianist, but you can play for your enjoyment and maybe even for the benefit of others.\u00a0 A friend of mine learned to play the violin when in his seventies and now travels to nursing homes in the area to play concerts for them.<\/p>\n

Regretting that you didn\u2019t start serving God earlier in life?\u00a0 It\u2019s not too late.\u00a0 Use the life you have left to honor Him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf onlys\u201d don\u2019t accomplish anything but making you sad.\u00a0 Instead, do something positive.\u00a0 Make a change and have an ending you WON\u2019T feel sad about!<\/p>\n
