I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.<\/em> \u00a0 Psalm 37:25<\/p>\n

Well, I\u2019ve seen folks begging for bread — but not because they were starving and actually needed it.\u00a0 Carbs are addicting, so we want them, although they aren\u2019t helping us.\u00a0 The beautiful truth in this scripture, though, is that God never forsakes His own.\u00a0 No matter how big — or small — your challenge or difficulty, you can call on Him for help.<\/p>\n

But, you might say, \u201cThat is for the righteous — the super good.\u00a0 That\u2019s not me.\u201d\u00a0 You are right!\u00a0 None of us are good at all, let alone super good.\u00a0 But Jesus, who is perfectly good, made an exchange for us.\u00a0 He gave us His perfection, His righteousness, and took on our sinfulness and selfishness.\u00a0 What a trade!<\/p>\n

Now those who believe Him have the right to come to God and to ask for His help.\u00a0 He will never fail!<\/p>\n
