Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him<\/em>.\u00a0 Psalm 37: 7a<\/p>\n

We folks who are goal-oriented have trouble with this verse!\u00a0 We want to be doing something and we want results NOW.\u00a0 We\u2019re the ones who will do killer work-out routines and starve ourselves, then give up when our results level off.\u00a0 If we are eating to live and living for Christ — as my signature line says — then we need to do just what this psalm says.\u00a0 Do what is right and let it rest.\u00a0 As long as we are doing all we know to do and aren\u2019t sabotaging ourselves with some unhealthy habits, the weight WILL come off. If you consistently take in less calories than you burn off, it has to happen — especially if they are calories from low glycemic foods.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the hurry anyway? You have all the rest of your life to be healthy and to enjoy the results of your healthy habits.\u00a0 Relax and enjoy it!<\/p>\n
