Most of us start out with our list of wants and needs.\u00a0 I have to admit to it.\u00a0 A lot of my recent conversations with God recently have begun with a mention of my malfunctioning refrigerator.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a better idea.\u00a0 Let\u2019s begin our conversation with a few overdo thank-yous.\u00a0 What in\u00a0 your life do you appreciate most?\u00a0 Your family?\u00a0 Your friends?\u00a0 Your health?\u00a0 Every good gift you have comes from God — so you might want to let Him know occasionally that you appreciate them!\u00a0 A walk together is a good time to begin that habit of gratitude and praise.<\/p>\n
It never fails. When I begin thanking God, I find I have a huge supply of good things in my life that I was taking for granted.\u00a0 I never even\u00a0 bothered to think much about them.\u00a0 But as I begin thanking God for them, I am overwhelmed with the goodness of God and with the joys He has lavished on me.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t forget your walk with Jesus today.\u00a0 It will be good for your heart — in more ways than one!<\/p>\n
