The Lord is at hand.<\/em>\u00a0 Philippians 4:5<\/p>\n<p>Moderation.\u00a0 Some of us have lots of problems with that character quality!\u00a0 I wonder how many of my readers share my inclination to go overboard on everything I do?\u00a0 That\u2019s not always bad. We plunge headlong into good things as well as bad habits.\u00a0 But the Lord requires moderation as a testimony to others.\u00a0 When it comes to eating, our moderation, or lack of it, is obvious and \u201cknown unto all men.\u201d\u00a0 All they have to do is look at us!<\/p>\n<p>This week, lets not overeat because we are bored, tired, depressed, or feel we deserve a holiday.\u00a0 Let\u2019s not starve because we hate the way we look, want to lose weight fast, or want to show we have the power to do it.\u00a0 Our challenge for this week is to be moderate.
