Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.\u00a0 Psalm 4:7<\/em><\/p>\n

Naturally skinny people can by trying at times.\u00a0 They can eat what they want and never seem to gain an ounce.\u00a0\u00a0I would certainly be happy if I could eat a banana split anytime I wanted with no blubber to show for it,<\/em>\u00a0I think.<\/p>\n

But does happiness come from food?\u00a0 True gladness — real joy — comes from God. He has given me something far better than a naturally fast metabolism.\u00a0 He has given me Himself.\u00a0 Let\u2019s focus on Him and our happiness will be greater than the \u201ccorn and wine\u201d of the scoffers and the banana splits of the skinny folks.<\/p>\n
