If everyone else is eating high glycemic cake and with mounds of ice cream, I had better make provision for my runaway sweet tooth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/beyondgorgeous\/files\/2012\/04\/frosting-glass_thumb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1459\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/261\/2012\/04\/frosting-glass_thumb-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Time to try that chocolate mousse recipe I found on Pinterest. It\u2019s made with coconut milk and sugar substitute.\u00a0 This recipe has the earmarks of a winner.\u00a0 The main component is coconut milk, which is nutrient dense but is low\/moderate on the glycemic index.\u00a0 The cocoa powder is very low glycemic and the alternative sweetener I used has an index number of zero.\u00a0 And it is easy to make.\u00a0 It also makes a great low-glycemic, sugar-free frosting.<\/p>\n<p>So what went wrong with my plan?\u00a0 It was so good I ate the whole thing by myself in one sitting.\u00a0 Not so smart.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u00a0is the recipe, which I am keeping in my \u201cwinner\u201d file.
