(The picture is from her site, too.) A check of the Internet showed lots of Skinny Monkeys, so I&#8217;m not sure where it originated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/261\/2012\/03\/273171533617743998_mI5RTvNA_f1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1386\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/261\/2012\/03\/273171533617743998_mI5RTvNA_f1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Skinny Monkey Cookies<\/p>\n<p>3 bananas<\/p>\n<p>2 cups old-fashioned oats<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup creamy peanut butter or other nut butter<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup unsweetened applesauce<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>Dash of cinnamon (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mash bananas in a large bowl and then stir in the remaining ingredients.\u00a0 Let the batter stand for about 20 minutes, then drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
