And you might consider stuffing this piece of literature in every family member&#8217;s stocking at Christmas. Just to make for a nice and comfortable holiday.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;What you need is a good kick up the backside.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Go out and buy yourself some clothes. That will pick you up.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Are you sure you don\u2019t have a mental problem?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;How about I cook you a good meal. That will make things better.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Have you tried acupuncture?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Get a job!&#8221;<br \/>\nAnd the all time best:<br \/>\n&#8220;Why don\u2019t you try not being depressed.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On that same post, he links to an article on things you SHOULD say, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.findingoptimism.com\/healthy-mind\/ways-to-build-up-someone-with-depression\/\">Things to Say to Someone With Depression<\/a>.&#8221; That&#8217;s an excellent post as well. You could include that in stockings, as well. Or, better yet, just ask James to host your family holiday.
