Because I’m on vacation this week, I’ve decided to publish posts from the two-week test pilot of Beyond Blue back in October of 2006<\/a>, two months before its initial launch in December 2006<\/a>. We’ve come a long way!<\/em><\/p>\n

I found a great quote from Mother Teresa that consoles me about not being able to pray when I’m depressed: <\/p>\n

In reality, there is only one true prayer, only one substantial prayer: Christ himself. There is only one voice which rises above the face of the earth: the voice of Christ. Prayer is oneness with Christ.\u00a0\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n

When times come when we can’t pray, it is very simple: if Jesus is in my heart, let Him pray, let Him talk to His Father in the silence of my heart. Since I cannot speak, He will speak; since I cannot pray, He will pray. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Here is a prayer by her that I also find especially beautiful: <\/p>\n

Our Father, here I am, at your disposal, your child,
\nTo use me to continue your loving world,
\nBy giving Jesus to me and through me,
\nTo each other and to the world.
\nLet us pray for each other that we allow Jesus to love in us
\nAnd through us with the love with which His Father loves him. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

St. Augustine meant the same thing when he wrote “True, whole prayer is nothing but love.” <\/p>\n
