Becoming a mother means becoming a wholly new human being
\nAnd that transformation can be overwhelming, exhilarating, confusing, wonderful, challenging<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

When mama ain’t happy, nobody’s happy<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

Mothers shoulder so much
\nPut everyone else first
\nSee the forest through the trees<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

We bust our tails no matter where the heck we work
\nWhen we set our minds to something, nothing stops us<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

Mothers are the rock
\nWe provide the soft place to fall
\nAnd we’re the ones who connect the dots<\/p><\/blockquote>\n


\nWe know<\/p>\n

No mother is perfect
\nThere is no right way of mothering
\nThat we are all on our own paths<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

We all have histories and hurts
\nWe have a story to tell
\nAnd something to contribute<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

No one understands a mother like another mother
\nWe need each other<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We know<\/p>\n

The world underestimates its mothers
\nAnd we sometimes underestimate ourselves<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We believe<\/p>\n

Society needs to give mothers a break
\nAnd we need to stop beating ourselves up<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We believe<\/p>\n

Every one of us has her own gifts
\nAnd, every step of the way, we’re learning a bit more about who we are<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We believe<\/p>\n

That mothers working together can accomplish anything
\nThat there is infinite power in a community of mothers<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We believe<\/p>\n

The web opens up endless possibilities
\nAnd we are only limited by our imaginations as to how to use it for good<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s time<\/p>\n

For mothers to have a neighborhood of our own
\nA place that is smart, safe, positive, productive and warm<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s time<\/p>\n

To stop listening to the judgmental voices that second guess every move we make
\nTo embrace our inner matriarch<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s time<\/p>\n

To remind the universe that it’s the mothers who make the world go around<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s time<\/p>\n

To make everything a little better
\nin our lives
\nin our communities
\non the earth
