There was a very funny exchange on The Daily Show<\/a> this week, during the fake press conference Jon Stewart held to satirize both Congressman Anthony Weiner’s apology and his own show’s half-hearted mockery of the scandal (Weiner is an old friend of Stewart’s) thus far.<\/p>\n

Stewart accidentally cut his wrist open on broken glass during the opening bit, prompting some ad-libbed quips with prospective replacement host John Oliver on how whether the bleeding victim should continue acting “so Jewish about it” or perhaps try a “Catholic” remedy (“turn it into a drink?!) instead. (It starts around 1:42 of the clip below.)<\/p>\n
