While I scratch my head for a Fun Friday topic, check out the faith-related coverage of the death of Dr. Jack Kevorkian<\/a>, the assisted suicide prophet who preached that suffering people had the right to die, even if they needed help to do so — euthanasia as a civil right, if you will.<\/p>\n

Looks like his death is resurrecting the debate. Ironic.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, it’s been a while since Kevorkian got much publicity, unless you count last year’s HBO movie “You Don’t Know Jack,”<\/a> starring Al Pacino. (I vaguely recall that it was predictably well-made and well-acted, and of course depressing, but the pacing felt a bit off.)<\/p>\n
