JTA reports that she reiterated the U.S. commitment to Israel’s security<\/a>, but also maintained the Obama administration’s position that building Jewish housing in Palestinian areas “undermines America’s unique ability to play a role” in the peace process. Clinton also criticized the naming of a Palestinian square after a terrorist and the calls by some Palestinians to “defend” Muslim holy sites from a rededication of a synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City, calling the latter “purely and simply an act of incitement.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She concluded her AIPAC remarks by referencing the Jewish holiday of Passover<\/a>, which starts March 29 this year:<\/p>\n
