Pretty much the same way I felt\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/9_11Anniversary\/Beliefnet-Bloggers-Where-Were-You-on-911.aspx?p=11\" target=\"_blank\">as a journalism student and native New Yorker on the morning of the attacks<\/a>. (The fetal feeling won, at least <a href=\"http:\/\/web.jrn.columbia.edu\/studentwork\/terror\/sep29\/batterypark.asp\" target=\"_blank\">for the first few weeks<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>I certainly didn&#8217;t expect to produce a Fun Friday post on this topic, but Muslim American comedian\/<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/beliefbeat\/2011\/08\/ramadan-f-words-friends-family-fasting-forgiveness-female-problems.html\" target=\"_blank\">30 Mosques guy<\/a>\/my former colleague Aman Ali&#8217;s recent CNN contribution fits the bill:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2011\/09\/07\/my-take-muslims-should-stop-apologizing-about-911\/\" target=\"_blank\">My Take: Muslims should stop apologizing for 9\/11<\/a><\/p>\n<p>FYI, Aman had tone his humor down for the CNN audience: his &#8220;friend who spills grape juice at your house&#8221; analogy was originally a &#8220;friend who stinks up your bathroom.&#8221; (Not sure either one works, though &#8212; I <em>would<\/em> blame you and expect an excellent apology if you kept bringing this jerk to my parties, though I don&#8217;t condone blaming millions of innocent Muslims for the actions of a terrorist minority. Then again, I also see no need to apologize for Nickelback&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
