This past election cycle generally and the events that have unfolded since Donald Trump\u2019s inauguration specifically have made at least six things abundantly clear to me.<\/p>\n
First, the left is interested in nothing more or less than total, unqualified control over the lives of us all.<\/p>\n
Second, leftists are willing to achieve this end \u201cby any means necessary<\/a>\u201d\u2014including categorical deception, harassment, intimidation, coercion, and overt violence.<\/p>\n Third, there are hard leftist groups that are, quite literally, terrorist organizations that have as yet to be formally designated as such.<\/p>\n Fourth, some of these militant leftist outfits, particularly those composed primarily of nonwhites and, ostensibly, for the sake of promoting \u201cracial equality\u201d\u2014Black Lives Matter, La Raza, CAIR, etc.\u2014are in fact vehicles for advancing the cause of racial and religious supremacy<\/em>.<\/p>\n Fifth, by far and away, the largest threat with which the West and, certainly, America is confronted today comes not from ISIS or \u201cradical Islam.\u201d \u00a0That threat is posed by the militant left.\u00a0 From the standpoint of the anti-Western, anti-American ideology<\/a> of the left, America is every bit the Great Satan that certain Islamic fundamentalists in the Middle East say it is.<\/p>\n Finally, those typically associated with \u201cthe right\u201d still have much to learn about how to fight against such a hostile adversary.\u00a0 Thankfully, some progress on this front is being made. However, by virtue of a habit that has been decades in the making, the right\u2019s first instinct is to go on defense.<\/p>\n To be sure, individually speaking, there are all sorts of exceptions to these rules regarding \u201cthe left\u201d and \u201cthe right.\u201d There are plenty of left-leaning persons who resolutely eschew violence and are interested in dialogue, and even friendship, with those with whom they disagree.\u00a0 Similarly, there are doubtless individuals on the right who are tenacious, on the prowl for a fight.<\/p>\n In speaking of \u201cthe left\u201d and \u201cthe right,\u201d I\u2019m referring to the standard operating procedures of the respective movements and the ideology that underpins the left.<\/p>\n Throughout Donald Trump\u2019s campaign, on literally hundreds of<\/a><\/em> occasions, Trump supporters were viciously, physically attacked<\/a> for no reason other than that they were Trump supporters. There was not a single<\/em> incident of Trump supporters crashing a Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders event and so much as harassing, to say nothing of beating, their<\/em> supporters. The tolerance and civility were not reciprocated, though.<\/p>\n As I (and others<\/a>) have argued, groups like \u201cAntifa\u201d (\u201cantifascist\u201d) and Black Lives Matter (BLM) are domestic terrorist<\/a> organizations. \u00a0They appropriate violence against innocent civilians for the sake of intimidating the public and its government into implementing policies that their members deem favorable to their interests.<\/p>\n In other words, the kinds<\/em> of intentions, aims, and methods of Antifa, BLM, and the like are exactly those of ISIS, Al Qaeda, and every other recognized terrorist outfit.<\/p>\n These leftist terrorist organizations constitute the strong-arm wing of the Democrat Party. That\u2019s correct: Although Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, and other Democrat politicians are neither in the streets themselves nor expressly calling for violence, they have refused to take advantage of their abundant media connections so as to openly, repeatedly, and unequivocally repudiate the violence of leftwing fanatics.<\/p>\n Furthermore, leftist politicians have been doing their part for \u201cthe Resistance<\/a>\u201d by cooking up the Vast Leftwing Conspiracy of \u201cRussian Collusion.\u201d And they have been assisted on this front by the Resistance\u2019s Propaganda arm, the Fake News media.\u00a0 This is a Big Lie<\/a> that jeopardizes America\u2019s relationship with the world\u2019s second most heavily nuclear-armed power.\u00a0 In doing so, the Big Lie threatens as well the stability of the planet (By whichever means necessary!).<\/p>\n Patriotic Americans, the heart and soul and engine of the country, i.e. those who, like Hillary Clinton and the Antifa, the left demonizes as \u201cdeplorable,\u201d \u201cfascist,\u201d and every other dehumanizing name, have finally started to fight back.<\/p>\n Street and internet activism have reached levels heretofore unseen for those on the right. \u00a0A new generation of conservative and libertarian-leaning Americans, as repulsed by Political Correctness as they are tech-savvy, have started to appropriate some of the left\u2019s guerilla warfare tactics\u2014and with remarkable success.<\/p>\n In fact, these millennials and Gen Zers<\/a> hold their own and then some when it comes to \u201cthe meme wars,\u201d successful podcasting, and so forth.\u00a0 Still others, like the geniuses at 4Chan<\/a>, have established a face data base<\/a><\/em> for Antifa members.\u00a0 Recall, the latter hide their faces behind masks and bandannas.\u00a0 The users of \u201c\/pol\/,<\/a>\u201d a politically-oriented discussion board at 4Chan, already managed to track down Eric Clanton<\/a>, the mask-cladded philosophy professor who assaulted a Trump supporter with a bike lock. \u00a0Clanton has since lost his job and been arrested.<\/p>\n When leftists proceeded to target Sean Hannity\u2019s sponsors a few weeks ago, Melanie Morgan and Brian Maloney decided that enough was enough. They founded \u201cMedia Equalizer<\/a>,\u201d a site intended to \u201cfight fire with fire.\u201d\u00a0 Media Equalizer lists all of the sponsors, with their contact information, of the Fake News talking heads.\u00a0 It also offers a generic letter of protest that visitors can send to these companies if they aren\u2019t inclined to compose one.\u00a0 But phone numbers are provided if opponents of Fake News are more disposed to call and register their complaints.<\/p>\n On the streets, the Deplorables have been holding \u201cFree Speech,\u201d \u201cpro-Trump,\u201d and, most recently, \u201canti-Sharia<\/a>\u201d marches and rallies all across the country.\u00a0 Bikers for Trump<\/a>; the Oath Keepers<\/a>; the Civil Defense Action<\/a>; Three Percenters<\/a>; the Proud Boys<\/a>; the Alt-Knights<\/a>\u2014these are some of the groups that have entered leftist strongholds, ready to do physical battle against leftist hostiles, if necessary (as it has been, on far too many occasions). Yet they have marched, spoken, and fought side-by-side with Blacks for Trump<\/a>, Hispanics for Trump<\/a>, black Neo-Confederates<\/a>, Gays for Trump<\/a>, and LGBTQs for Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n And they have been winning the battles that they\u2019ve fought.<\/p>\n As the left radicalizes, which it will, the right will continue to adapt as well.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This past election cycle generally and the events that have unfolded since Donald Trump\u2019s inauguration specifically have made at least six things abundantly clear to me.
