Thanks to everyone who participated in the survey yesterday! \u00a0An overwhelming majority (86%) likes the Daily Skywatch and 78% of those did not want to see it go to once a week. I’m glad of this because it’s been fun for me to watch the intricate motions of the inner planets on a day-to-day basis, something I haven’t done for many years!<\/span><\/div>\n

If you subscribe to the RSS feed it evidently does not always come out on time. \u00a0I usually write this around 6 am, but occasionally (like this morning) I sleep in a bit. \u00a0But the Daily Skywatch will nearly always be written by 9 am, so if you haven’t received it in your emailbox you may have to read it on the blog. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

The opposition from Mercury to Saturn that gave yesterday a somber overcast is diminishing today and that cloud will lift by mid-day. \u00a0Still, the Moon remains in Saturn’s sign Capricorn, so that serious quality is still the underlying factor and the ends now justify the means in Capricorn. \u00a0The Moon is waning for the next week, making this a good time to complete projects, get a haircut, lose some weight, end a relationship. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Mars (assertiveness) forms a harmonious sextile to Pluto (power and transformation), giving us the clarity to understand our motivations and the OOMPH! to achieve our goals. \u00a0This is a good day for group endeavors that require collaboration, since the motivation for achievement will overcome any interpersonal blocks until mid-afternoon when the Moon begins to form a square to Venus at around 5:30 pm EDT. \u00a0At that time our personal feelings will want to take center stage and could make collaboration more difficult.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
