Friends say that I should just &#8220;talk&#8221; to these men, but how? How do you start a conversation with someone without being creepy, and how do you keep the conversation going? I run out of things to say!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;How can I tell if a man is attracted to me or just being &#8220;nice&#8221;? And how can I obviously show a man that I&#8217;m interested in him without coming off as skanky?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These questions have come up many times in the past, and we recently talked about <a href=\"http:\/\/features.beliefnet.com\/areasontosmile\/2012\/02\/qa-how-do-i-start-dating-and-learn-how-to-flirt-video.html\" target=\"_blank\">how to flirt<\/a>, but there is always more to say about how to do it right!<\/p>\n<p>In the video below, I explain:<br \/>\nMore about how to flirt, how to know if he \/ she is interested in you; how to know what the other person is thinking, when they are *lying*, and much, much more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Episode 48 Dating Part 1.mp4\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mE2Pwwwr1lY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As for these specific questions, first and foremost, the best way to get someone interested in you, is to be interested in * them *.<br \/>\nWhat that means, is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/features.beliefnet.com\/areasontosmile\/2011\/11\/catching-flies-with-honey-or-listening-to-be-heard-video.html\" target=\"_blank\">ask questions and listen to what they say<\/a>.<br \/>\nThis doesn&#8217;t mean that you should start grilling them; but if you see them walking the dog you can walk up and say \u201cwow, that&#8217;s a beautiful dog; what&#8217;s her name?\u201d or if you see them checking the mail, ask \u201cyour lottery check show up yet?\u201d or something like that; anything to get the conversation started.<\/p>\n<p>The other thing is to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/features.beliefnet.com\/areasontosmile\/2011\/10\/understanding-mr-right-or-how-to-train-your-husband.html\" target=\"_blank\">understand how guys think<\/a>.<br \/>\nYou&#8217;ll always have success appealing to his ego; complement his car, his shoes, ask if he&#8217;s been working out, anything.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The number one thing you have going for you, is once you show him you&#8217;re interested any guy worth while should take the hint and start pursuing * you* instead.<\/p>\n<p>And the best way to find out if he&#8217;s interested is, does he act interested? Does he ask you to spend time with him?
