When you worry, you are telling God and / or the Universe that they can’t handle your situation, so you need to come up with an answer. When the dust settles, you either trust God *completely* to provide your needs, or not at all.

If you are not a person of faith, then even then you should know that worry won’t affect the outcome of the situation, and that makes it even more pointless to torture yourself for nothing!

Worry is just another, and more insidious form of fear . When confronted with the unknown, and all the infinite wonderful possibilities, it is all too easy to pick out the worst possible one and fixate on that.

See, the Law of Attraction teaches us that whatever we focus on, we attract. So if you are focused on negative things with emotional intensity (like worrying) then you are actually bringing all those negative things into your life that much faster.

And even worse, as I said in my article on Pessimism it leaves you feeling bad RIGHT NOW, even before the ‘bad’ situation has taken place!

I want to invite you to look at things in a new light, to develop a ‘positive paranoia’. Start to believe that God and the Universe are on your side and that everything in Creation is conspiring to make you happy. If this is too much of a stretch, than at least resolve to give up worry once and for all, since it will truly never accomplish anything.

Know what you want, focus on the goal, and keep moving forward.

Resolve to put all that negativity behind you, and move forward with bold confidence to the BEST 2012 you can possibly have.

You are great, and I love you!

And if you love me back, click ‘share’ up at the top!

B. For years, friends and relatives looked to him for guidance and support during difficult times, and he realized at an early age that his purpose in life was to serve and inspire. While touring as a personal coach with a prominent rock band, he was discovered by one of the top trainers of the Anthony Robbins companies, which lead to him settling down to open and operate a Marketing, Business Services and Coaching firm in Los Angeles. Armed with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he brings the same discipline and determination that helped him earn Black Belt rankings in Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi to all areas of study and focus. In addition to earning a degree in English from Morehouse College, he has mastered the science of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and other communication, healing, counseling and spiritual systems from all over the world. He brings his empathy, insight, and vast personal experience into all his relationships, which has lead to him being one of the most sought after Coaches in the world today.
