Sometimes really hearing God can be a hard thing to do. \u00a0We can go through life everyday thinking that we are listening, but are we really? \u00a0Are we really letting God work in us or are we making the decisions that we think<\/strong> God would make. \u00a0That’s something to stop and ask ourselves everyday.<\/p>\n

I have started a stage of life where I no longer have things set out in front of me. \u00a0School was a main focus for so many years and now it is over and time to become an adult now, right? \u00a0Time to ask God what the next step is. \u00a0It seemed that trusting God was easier then. \u00a0Maybe that is because I was planning what I thought He wanted for me instead of letting Him show me. \u00a0It is absolutely crucial that we really learn to hear God’s voice. \u00a0There are so many voices that drown Him out. \u00a0So many times we hear things that we think are good advice, they must be from God! \u00a0It is so important to, even then, go to God in prayer and ask Him, “God is this you?” \u00a0And He will show you.<\/p>\n

I was convinced that I knew what the next step for me was, but decided I would rest and let God show me more. \u00a0It turns out that He showed me so much more. \u00a0More than anything I would have expected. \u00a0Something so different but so much more. \u00a0He showed me my heart.<\/p>\n

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.\u00a0\u00a0And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7<\/p>\n

After all, why are we anxious? \u00a0What is the rush in life? \u00a0God knows <\/strong>the desires of our hearts and he will reveal all in His perfect time. \u00a0We just need to learn how to listen.<\/p>\n

Find a place, away from all the noise and the rush of life. \u00a0Maybe God will meet you there. \u00a0He met me here:<\/p>\n

There is something about being out in God’s creation that is so therapeutic. \u00a0God speaks to everyone in a different way. \u00a0There is no wrong place and no wrong time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
