Went to the Goddess Crafts Faire<\/a> yesterday and it was an
\nimpressive and very enjoyable event.  <\/span>Lots of good
\ncraft booths, some not as good, but that’s normal.  <\/span>I
\nbought Yule gifts, enjoyed talking with the artists and craftspeople, heard a number of good singers and saw some wonderful dancers.  <\/span>Celia Farran’s<\/a> performance was as good as I
\nhad hoped, maybe better.  Very funny, very moving, and a great voice.  <\/span>All in all a wonderful break from lots of writing and days of cold and dreary rain.  <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>(I’m not complaining – 
\n<\/span>not really – much of my life has been spent in droughts, so years ago I
\nswore I would never complain about the rain when it happened. But a little
\nwistful remembrance of lovely sunny days isn’t really griping. Really. Please believe

Afterwards some of us took Celia out for dinner at the Sonoma Wine Shop<\/a> where I
\nlearned a lesson.  <\/span>Old age and treachery
\nwill lose in thumb wrestling the young and energetic if they are singer\/guitar
\nplayers.  They have <\/span>STRONG hands.<\/p>\n
