The mainstream corporate media is one of the greatest threats to the survival of American democracy. Every day its behavior demonstrates why centralization in media is a threat to freedom and truth.<\/p>\n

It also demonstrates why public corporations should not be allowed to own any media outlets. Ever. At least individuals and family corporations have faces, consciences, identifiable views and, in most cases, a degree of morality exceeding that of a sociopath.
